I have been incorporating digital portfolios in my classes since 2016-2017. I set a goal every year to create a personal portfolio to show my students, but had not accomplished it until this summer. By having a clear deadline and goals from someone else, I was able to create a digital portfolio that challenged me to evaluate my teaching and my learning. Just as I ask my students to reflect on their learning, I completed the same process. I had to evaluate each assignment and outside examples for how I truly apply and use those in accordance with the ISTE Standards for Educators. I enjoyed the process and can now guide my students better when we return to class.
